It is my understanding that the headstone at Cape Willoughby Lighthouse is from Adelaide’s Cheltenham Cemetery, which was returned to the island because of the inscription. This would have happened when it’s plot was reused. It is fortunate to survive as most headstones removed by Adelaide Cemeteries Authority are shifted to Enfield Cemetery, only to disappear forever.
